Meeting Web Site A web site has been set up by ANL to serve as a centralized location for meeting information and as a record of the event [http://www.mcs.anl.gov/discover/kickoff.html]. It contains the following information:

• Logistics on the meeting, including the hotel reservations information, directions, registration information
• Meeting Agenda (the agenda elements will link to the corresponding presentation)
• List of projects linked to their executive summaries
• List of PIs registered
• List of Access Nodes potentially participating

Presentations: All presentations will be supplied in electronic version in advance to the meeting organizer (and to their session/panel chair) to be linked to the meeting web page. All sessions/panels will have all presentations on one computer. Only electronic projection is planned. (Backup will be provided by the meeting web site.)

Meals and breaks: There will be coffee, soft drinks, water available for all breaks. A buffet lunch will be served on both days. A buffet dinner will be served on Tuesday night. Cost of these meals is included in the registration fee.

Handout Material: A booklet that contains important contact information will be provided to all attendees. The contents are the following and it will be prepared at HQ.

• A list of HQ personnel and contact information (SciDAC Director, SciDAC Program Managers, etc)
• Key HQ presentations
• Project Executive Summaries
• List of all projects including contacts and URLs that are available
• A few blank pages for notes during the meeting.

Meeting Rooms: The capacity of room to be used for the plenary sessions is about 200 people. The plenary sessions will be set up on the Access Grid in its normal interactive mode so that people who are unable to attend can participate.
